Accounts Payable Schedule Change for April

In observance of Holy Thursday and Good Friday on April 17 and 18, 2014, the Accounts Payable Department (AP) cutoff for all appropriately authorized paperwork will be the close of business on Thursday, April 10. Checks will be available for pick up on Wednesday, April 16. Due to the Annual Staff Appreciation Day on Thursday, April 24, the AP cutoff will be the close of business on Wednesday, April 16. Checks will be available for pick up on Friday, April 25. The regular processing schedule will resume the week of April 28.

The Kevin McCarthy Alcoholism Awareness Benefit Dinner

Please join us on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at 6 p.m. in the Duquesne University Power Center Ballroom for an evening that will enhance awareness about treatment approaches for alcoholism and raise money for the Salvation Army Harbor Light Center. Hear from Duquesne Pharm.D. alum Becky McCarthy, who lost her father Kevin to alcoholism in 2008. Joining Becky will be Randy Herbe, who will talk about his own struggles with alcoholism. Duquesne's Dr. Vincent Giannetti will talk about current treatment options for alcoholism. The minimum suggested donation is $40 per person ($20 for students) and includes a pasta buffet dinner.

FY15 Endowment Distributions

Attention Endowed Fund Managers! FY15 endowment distributions are now available via Self Service Banner. The training manual is available on the Planning and Budget intranet site and will guide you through the step-by-step process to access distributions and make any necessary adjustments. Please take your time and read all sections of the manual. Endowed Fund security clearance is required to view the endowment distributions; therefore, if you can view the endowed Fund and Organization Codes in Self Service Banner now, you will have access to Budget Development. All distributions must be reviewed and spending plans developed by May 30, 2014. Please contact Bonnie Watson at x5696 for training opportunities.
